Camping Le Palme

Use mod. houses. Elba. Recent and well maintained, excellent level of cleanliness and comfort. Large external veranda, possibility of using air conditioning (surcharge). Hot water always available, practical kitchen equipped with everything you need. But bring your own pillows if you can't stand the very thin ones provided by Courage. Towels not present. The structure features a beautiful, large swimming pool, sunbeds and umbrellas which cannot be booked but are free. In the campsite there is a nice bar with an adjoining restaurant and pizzeria. This last type of cuisine is excellent. A market inside the structure would be convenient, it would avoid reaching the Conad in the center of Marina di Bibbona. Friendly and helpful staff. Animation needs to be reviewed but the efforts made by the young staff are rewarded. I will definitely go back.

I have been attending this campsite for 4 seasons now and I can testify that every year everything possible has been done to improve the structure and organization more and more. Very well kept campsite. Friendliness and promptness in resolving any issue. Bar/Pizzeria we had a great time both with Ciro's excellent pizza and with sea and land dishes. The campsite is family-friendly and very suitable for children as cars cannot circulate inside except for specific reasons. Very beautiful pool (renovated this year) which I have fallen in love with since our first visit in June 2019. The lifeguards Giulia and Sara are very attentive and friendly. Campsite equipped with a mini-club with dedicated structure which can also be used in case of bad weather. The girls and boys who look after the children are wonderful and the children love them, especially Silvia, but also the sweet Sara and Alessia to whom the children have become very fond... then for the older children there is Massimo , very nice and always cheerful. I must say that initially the entertainment started a little subdued this year, but thanks to the arrival of the young and dynamic Martina everything has improved greatly, always present at the poolside activities and the entertainment evenings which begin first with the baby dance and then with always different evenings (musicals, cabaret, games for adults and children, karaoke, group dancing). And in the evening after the management closes there is the security officer Riccardo who stays on duty until late at night and makes sure that the rules are respected and no strangers enter. A dutiful person and always ready to carry out his duties in the best possible way. In short, my family and I have a great time and recommend it because our experience is completely positive.

Nice dog friendly campsite where they do not discriminate between breeds and sizes, equipped with a small walking area. Swimming pool not large but well maintained, clean bathrooms and presence of a bar and restaurant with unobtrusive entertainment. With some small improvements it would become a perfect campsite! First of all, there are no buckets distributed along the streets of the village so any waste must be thrown away in the separate waste collection area. In my opinion, this is a limit, especially if you have a dog and, as a civil owner, you want to collect the waste and throw it away. The real sore point, however, is the lack of surveillance. Next to my accommodation there was a camper of teenagers without parents who ran wild without limits and also significantly dirtied their pitch with waste of all kinds. Furthermore, at night the bathrooms became a gathering center for kids where they smoked (and sometimes the air was unbreathable even though everything was open) and they vandalized the bathrooms which the excellent cleaning ladies renovated in the morning and which I thank because they work impeccably. .

Very nice experience, good service, nice and well-kept pool. The lifeguard Roger's security with short black hair is very kind, friendly and engaging, always cleans the pool and addresses customers in a very polite manner. The same cannot be said of the lifeguard with blond hair (always Roger's security), rude, arrogant and gruff with the customers.

I don't agree with the policy of charging for air conditioning separately, also because the booking room description does not indicate that air is not included in the price Furthermore, there was little care and attention on the part of the staff in communicating the rules for using the air conditioning. We were told that to use it and for it to be counted, it was necessary to insert a key into a special lock. We only used it for two days, after which we removed the key because it wasn't hot. When we checked out they made us pay for all 7 nights, telling us that to avoid paying we would have to return the key to reception. When we arrived it had not been specified in this way. I also find it a not very functional system and an excuse to get paid. Of course I didn't make a fuss because I'm on holiday but of course I know where not to go next year.

I stayed from 29 July to 5 August 2023. Nice and clean campsite, but for what the town and the often rough and dirty sea offers, perhaps a little expensive, considering that you pay separately for air conditioning and an umbrella . A little far from the sea, we would like at least a free shuttle for guests. Luckily there is a nice swimming pool, which brightened up our holiday even more
